Welcome to the Art Habit Bootcamp

You are in the right place if you feel like you:

• aren't building skills as quickly as want to
• are showing up sometimes... but you know your life would be better with more art.
• go through boom and busts... showing up a TON but then falling off the wagon.

You want to be able to trust that you'll show up today AND tomorrow AND the next day. 

That's exactly what we're here to do inside the Bootcamp. And it's a good thing because  showing up is the most important part.

Why?

Because showing up is how we LEARN. Showing up is the spring board for EVERYTHING else in art. 

If you don't show up you can't build skills.

If you don't show up, you can't learn what you like and don't like.

Which means if you don't show up, you can't develop a style. 

Show up show up show up. 

Now, as you enter this bootcamp, you're going to come across a lot of information. The good news is you don't have to do everything at ONCE. And in fact, part of building an art habit is to focus on what matters right now and disregard the rest. 

We are currently in WELCOME WEEK and we will be in it until Monday July 28th.

That means you have plenty of time to get oriented and get comfortable and familiar with what's where.

FOCUSED FIVE

From now until we start with Module 1, I want you to focus on FIVE things:

☐ Fill out the Welcome Survey

This helps me get to know you and your goals better. 

☐ Watch the Orientation Replay.

Get an overview of how the course is set up. Plus a look inside Kajabi to better understand how to navigate the learning platform. 

☐ Listen to Module 0

Module 0 will set the tone for what's ahead. Plus it'll give you some practice navigating Kajabi, which definitely has a learning curve. 

☐ Say hello in the community

This is a group of amazing people, and I think you're going to make some good art friends in the days and weeks ahead. Kick it off by sharing a picture of your favorite tool (don’t overthink it!) and what you love about it. Find the Community here. 

☐ Go explore what’s in that Admin section

This includes things like the materials list, references, and downloads for the class and zoom links.

Don't worry, you don't need to know what these all are yet. I'll give you more details later. I just want you to see that they are there. Find the Admin section here.
